Dr Rehan Haidry, one of the UK’s leading experts in Oesophageal Motility Disorders, was invited to speak with National Health Executive’s podcast (episode 54) last month; diving into the topic of revolutionary diagnostics.
“It was hugely important to me to talk about the impact motility disorders, such as achalasia, have on patient’s quality of life with the NHE podcast recently,” comments Dr Haidry, “I was able to share what we are doing with the Endoflip device and how the Cleveland Clinic is transforming patient outcomes.”
The 15-minute monthly podcast has a huge listenership amongst decision makers in healthcare, particularly those who work with the NHS. In the podcast Dr Haidry showcased how the implementation of innovative diagnostics at the Cleveland Clinic improves patient outcomes from ‘what can often be a prolonged and fragmented diagnostic journey’ to expedient diagnosis and curative treatments.
Dr Haidry was also able to explain how early adoption of Endoflip not only spares patients from unnecessary tests and treatments, but also delivers efficiencies and offers significant cost savings for the wider health system.
