Dr. Rehan Haidry is a Consultant Gastroenterologist, Interventional Endoscopist and Clinical lead for endoscopy at the state-of-the-art Cleveland Clinic London.
He trained at St Mary’s Hospital in London and completed his Specialist Gastroenterology training in Northeast London. He has been a consultant since 2010. He has a passion and interest for intervention endoscopy and endoscopic research.
He strives to provide the best care he can for his patients and offer them minimally invasive and innovative endoscopic therapies for a variety of gastrointestinal conditions.

I chose to have an ESG procedure at the Cleveland Clinic with Dr Rehan Haidry.
The procedure was so simple and the recovery very easy. I had no marks or scarring on my body and was back at work the next week. I lost 20% of my body weight and over a year later I have not regained any weight.
Dr Rehan Haidry was so professional and put me at ease, I would recommend it to anyone looking for a permanent weight loss solution.
I had gastro issues for 10 years, at my worst I was unable to keep down even a glass of water and was hospitalised.
I am so glad I found Dr Rehan Haidry who was quickly able to diagnose achalasia and recommend POEM. The procedure took 20 minutes and I was discharged within 24 hours without needing any painkillers.
Afterwards I was able to eat and drink normally; I actually cried after my first meal! I cannot recommend Dr Haidry enough.
I decided to pay privately with Dr Rehan Haidry for the TIF procedure.
The procedure is done in the endoscopy suite and during the procedure Dr Haidry discovered I had a small hiatus hernia, which was corrected too. I can now drink tea and coffee – which were huge triggers previously – and I have a normal diet, it is truly amazing. Two years on I have virtually no symptoms at all.
I can’t speak more highly of Dr Haidry and I am so grateful that this procedure has given me back a normal life.
The POEM procedure has totally changed my life.
I was treated by Dr Rehan Haidry who was frankly amazing as I was so nervous and anxious, but he put me totally at ease. I can lay down after eating, I can go to bed straight after eating, I can eat with friends and talk and relax – where before I had to concentrate on every mouthful. I can eat a normal variety of foods of different textures.
I can eat out at a restaurant, without worrying I might regurgitate food. POEM has made such a difference to my quality of life.
After being diagnosed with Zenker’s, I decided not to have surgery on the NHS and instead chose a non-invasive endoscopic alternative called Z-POEM.
After a battle with my insurance company I was funded to have the procedure at the Cleveland Clinic with Dr Rehan Haidry, who was so professional. I had a sore throat for a week or so, but aside from that no side effects. I can now eat whatever I like and don’t vomit, cough or choke.
I can now enjoy my food and can happily eat out without any embarrassment.
Over the years I’ve had endoscopies, colonoscopies and seen many doctors and consultants, privately and on the NHS.
It got to the point where I’d been given every PPI medication they could prescribe. Nothing helped and I kept waking up in the night with reflux. My stomach was constantly bloated and the pain was not good. I had TIF with Dr Rehan Haidry at the Cleveland Clinic and I feel great and I’m so pleased I had the procedure.
It really has changed my life so much for the better. I now wake up with no stomach pains and I can sleep normally.
